Step 3.
Attach the lower brake assembly above the brake pedal at the height shown in illustration (3) of your spec sheet.
Install the lower brake block assembly onto vehicle's brake arm as indicated in illustration (3) on your vehicles
Automobility specs sheet.
(Be sure that you measure the distance between the bottom of the brake pad and the bottom of the brake block
and install at the distance identified on the spec sheet.  The U clamp goes on the back of the brake arm then the
wedge block on the front, the swivel plate must then be placed on the centre of the wedge block so the pin comes
through the center hole which allows the front part to swivel.  You can adjust the horizontal range of the handle by
turning this swivel plate in either direction.  Do not over tighten the cross bolt that holds the brake arm to the
swivel plate as if it cannot move it may cause your brake lights to remain on when you release the brake.)

Not all vehicles have the same brake pedal

arms.

The illustrations below  show a couple

possible ways of installing the lower

brake assembly
LEFT OFFSET
LOWER BRAKE ARM
STRAIGHT  LOWER
BRAKE ARM
RIGHT  OFFSET LOWER
BRAKE ARM
The V clamp goes on from the back of the brake arm. - The wedge plate goes on from the
front,  (some European cars with wide brake arms will not use this wedge block).
- The swivel plate goes over the bolts and centers on the wedge block pin. This plate swivels
to adjust for the brake arm or to raise or lower the control handle. The brake arm retention
spring goes to the top.
